We got take out and couldn't have enjoyed it more. We had delicious crab ravioli with asparagus in a light, white sauce, chicken piccata, expertly cooked with garlic sauteed broccoli, salads with creamy garlic dressing and two perfect cannolis. If you're in a hurry, go somewhere else. We'll be back!

Not a fan. I give it a 2/5 stars because the sweet tasting sauce wasn't MY favorite but might be someone else's. My biggest issue with this place was the service. My mother in law and I stopped in for lunch and they had two other tables with just two people each. It is a "seat yourself" type of place so we did. And we sat for about 6-7 minutes (which is quite long to wait for someone to approach your table in an almost empty restaurant) before a waiter came to the table. By this time we had already decided on our meal so we promptly ordered our soda and water and a pizza (which they only offer one size of). The pizza came out pretty timely but that was about it. I drank my water and needed more but he never showed back up.......and at this time the other two tables had left so we were the ONLY ones left to serve. I will not return and if you are looking for sub par Italian food then you have found your spot. Too many places to eat around Royal Palm Beach/West Palm Beach area to not put your best foot forward and TRY to be better than the delivery pizza chain right next door.

This place has the worst service in Florida. Waited 30 min for a 25 cent salad, than another hour for dinner. Big plates with a million calories- all carbs. Garlic city- rolls ar garlic & lots of oil etc must I say anymore- you get my message

Picked up dinner with my parents and it was really good! We ordered a baked ziti and a side of meatballs and the portion was huge - we only finished a little over half the pasta between 3 people! My only complaint is that I wish the baked ziti had some ricotta cheese in it. The pasta also came with 3 garlic rolls and a side salad. A really satisfying family meal for a good price (~$22).

So it's been a long time and I'm at a party that has this great chicken francese and some off-the-hook baked ziti bolognase, and where did they get it from? Mario Bros. Wow. They have definitely stepped it up for me and this Friday, I will be ordering a family meal from them. Not anticipating any change in the inside, but do appreciate what I consider a great improvement to their food.

Ordered ahead of time. Large chicken parm, spaghetti in meat sauce, garlic rolls. Delicious! The place is slow with the food, but you have to be patient for great taste!

Love their pasta and meats, especially their boulgenese and manicotti. Portions are family size so don't be put off by the pricing. Amazing salad dressing.

I eat eggplant parmigiana every place that I possibly can and this has been the top taste of them all! Very unassuming place as well. Ordered a calzone which was as large as a medium pizza pie. Is enough to feed 4 people. Their side of broccoli is amazing with the garlic! Definitely recommend this spot!

Live in Palm Beach County? Haven't been to Mario's? What the hell is wrong with you!? Don't let the small, strip-mall setting next to Papa John's in Royal Palm Beach fool you, this place is the real deal! I visited Mario Brother's (not to be confused with the chain) on a Friday night and had fantastic service and an EVEN BETTER meal! Ordered the baked ziti with meat sauce (~$13?) and received way more than I bargained for. Dinner was served with a salad (on a dinner plate with a gravy boat full of bleu cheese crumbles! see the picture!) and fresh warm garlic rolls. By the time I received the entree (see picture) I could only finish half. The to go box was so heavy, I had enough left over for lunch and dinner the next day. If you have room for dessert (which I didn't)....the banana cheesecake looked incredible. The only thing to remember is to leave room for a nap after you leave, as you'll most certainly need one to recover from this wonder of a hidden gem of a restaurant!

Tried this place again, reluctantly. 2 1/2 hours for dinner is just ridiculous! !! Nothing was timely. Drinks, 20-30 minutes, appetizer took over an hour to get. Salads came out after almost 2hrs, entrees came out 30 mins after salads. The check, forget it! 20 minutes later we went to the front to pay. Management refused to speak to us after asking politely to speak to someone about it. Wow. Never again! We'll stick to Romeos in Wellington.

Let me start out by saying its small if you haven not been there. Don't bother going here unless you plan to be there for 3+ hours. ( it's hot, stuffy, old, smelly, uncomfortable place, not a place to spend 3 f'n hours.) We missed our movie. The food looks good but LACKS in any FLAVOR. We had fettuccine alfredo. It was hard to taste the cheese. Was very bland. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE ( 4 table being serviced) and IS CONSISTENTLY SLOW. We keep given the place another try and THEY FAIL CONSISTENTLY in Service and flavor. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. Drinks took 15 minutes (waters). Ordered iced teas after. wow, that was another 10-15 minutes getting those. We started our dinner off by ordering an appetizer, calamari. They were good, but took an hour and 15 minutes to get. Not to mention we never got the garlic rolls we asked for at the beginning of service. We were told our salads were ready but that they were waiting on the calamari. At this point we didn't care what came out first, as long as it was food! Other tables were also complaining of the very, very long wait. Needless to say, we eventually got our main course. its was pretty much dropped in front of us and our server left quickly as to avoid us asking for refills. After we finished our meal, we asked for our check. Dreading knowing that this would be ANOTHER 20 minutes at least. Sure enough, she never came with it. We had to go to the front and pay. waiting again. The severs just looking at us, not really caring we are standing there TRYING TO PAY so we can LEAVE THIS DAMN PLACE. So, after all this we asked politely to speak with a manager, the sever asked "why, whats wrong?" 3 hour dinner service. We would like to speak with him about it. She left, came back and said, "NO". wow, no? Yes, no, he's busy. WOW. OK. MIND YOU, HES STANDING THERE 10 FEET AWAY FROM US, LOOKING AT US. He flat out refused. They just don't care. NEVER AGAIN, EVER! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! DON'T BOTHER WITH TAKE-OUT EITHER, SAME BULLSHIT.They will tell you 40-50 minutes, it's more like an hour and 40 minutes. you get there for your take-out and wait!!!!!!! We will stick with ROMEOS in Wellington.

Very disappointed at tomato sauce and sausage this evening. Sauce was over cooked, almost burned. Sausage was hard, dry and tasteless. Although I reported this to two servers, no suggestion for replacement was made. Not a word from the owner/cook on the way out either. Used to bring new friends here often. That's not going to happen again.

Just had lunch there, we started with the julianne salad (meat and cheese on a bed of lettuce) with very tasty dressing. The eggplant rollatini was excellent, two nice portions plenty of cheese with great sauce, my wife had penne ala volka.. thick creamly sauce and very tasty.. Garlic rolls were the bomb, soft, hot and full of favor. My son had a meatball sandwich which had to be 12 inches long, full of meat, sauce and cheese. No one in the party could eat all their food. This place will be a once a week visit from now on. Thank you Mario Bros,

Mario makes everything to order and it definitely shows. The portions are enormous so be ready to share or have leftovers for days. I had the baked ziti and it was soo good. The cannolis were awesome too. Try the garlic rolls with alfredo sauce... it's absurdly rich and delicious. The place is small but the flavors are big.

This is my grandmother's favorite restaurant, so when I came to visit she wanted to take me here and I thanked her greatly. The restaurant is tiny, there is only about 8 tables/booths and can probably seat about 20 people, there is only one waitress and service was pretty slow. If it weren't for the service, I would definitely give this place five stars. I had the Rigatoni Alla Casa, it was a spicy dish in a garlic sauce. When our food came out, I was a little bit jealous of the other two I was eating with as their food was covered in cheese and looked great. But once I ate my food I was very happy with my choice of meal. Entrees are served salad and bread. The bread was so good, it was covered in spices, parmesan cheese, and olive oil. I was told to get the garlic salad dressing so I did and it was very good, so good in fact, I heard a table ask for it later in the evening and the waitress had to tell them unfortunately that they had just ran out of the dressing. The prices were reasonable, about $15 for an entree, but after the rolls and large salad, I could barely eat half of my entree, and the only reason I ate that much was that it was so good. I was told that many people get the food to go and also know they cater. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I love this place. Truly. If the supreme court would allow marriage between a man and a restaurant I would marry this place. The only downside is that Mario Bros has ruined all other Italian food for me. I can't eat Italian food anywhere else now, even from my wife's Italian family. You just can't miss ordering anything here, from the gourmet quality pizza to the thoughtfully prepared pasta dishes. They're portions are huge and buh-gawd you get what you pay for. If you want something quick, the pan seared chicken sub is fantastic. Seared juicy chicken breast, grilled onions and freshly, yes freshly, roasted red peppers. When you're ready to sit down and eat a proper meal the Shrimp Parmigiana is unbeatable. This should be the very next restaurant you try if your looking for new places. This is the best restaurant in Royal Palm Beach, and the best Italian food period.

My husband and I have been going to Mario Bros. since the month they opened. We think they make the best cold Italian Sub in town. The combination of meats is perfect. The subs are gigantic and we usually eat half for lunch and save the other half for dinner. We ask for a little house dressing on the side. The freshly made house dressing is so tasty, and you can order it by the pint. We have ordered the Family Dinner Specials and they are a great value. We usually have 5 people eating the meal. Sometimes we even have leftovers. That's less than $7 per person. The Eggplant Parmesan is the best I have ever had in my life. The eggplant is thinly sliced and the sauce is so sweet. Just like Mama used to make! The owners are the chefs and they are such nice people. They cook everything to order so be patient and give them time to make you an awesome meal. We always choose to carry out our meal so normally we just call ahead to avoid a wait. The restaurant is small and that makes for a cozy home feel if you choose to dine in. They cater also!

I'm not sure what all the hype is about...we tried it one night. I ordered the fried calamari, a house salad, the steak tenderloin parm (they don't have veal) and linguine with white clams. The calamari pieces were small and chewy and breading was heavy so you really didn't taste anything but breading, the veal parm was nothing to write home about, sauce was very thick, tasted more like tomato paste, and the clams were medium size not little necks...just chewy. Lacked any depth of flavor other than salty clam juice. Portions are huge, perhaps that's why people love it. I guess quantity over quality. Unfortunstely we won't be back.

Food was very fresh and delicious. Rigatoni alla casa was nice and spicy. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo was very creamy and the chicken was tender. Creamy garlic salad dressing was tasty too! Very small mom and pop joint. The prices seem high, but each entree easily serves two. Give it a try!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
